Content (including comments) which violates any of these rules will be removed.

Members may be banned from the site for breaking these rules repeatedly

Temporary Rule
No Nude Photography unless genitals are censored

(This includes non-animated videos)

Nudity in paintings, sculptures, and digital Art is allowed. Unfortunately nude photography is generally regarded as pornography by many server-side institutions. So until we have a moderation system in place, nude photography poses an issue for our ability to get our upcoming mobile app approved for app stores.

Permanent Rules
No Bullying, Harassment, or Hate Speech

No photos/videos violating a subject's right to consent

No nude photos/videos of subjects under the age of 18

No photos/videos which document the abuse of humans or animals

Admins reserve the right to remove any content from this site for reasons not yet covered in these rules

Promotion, Advertizing, and Spam Rules
What IS Allowed:

- Individual Artists self-promoting to show & sell their Art -

- Art Galleries self-promoting and promoting their Artists to show and sell their Artists' Art -

- Pretty much anything to help individual Artists share their work with the community, and earn a living by selling their Art is both allowed and encouraged. But individual group admins can make their own rules about sales/promotion -

What is NOT Allowed

- Corporations trying to sell products or services to Artists or Art Collectors -

- Private Message Spamming -

- Selling Art that is not yours and you have no Artist permission to sell -

-Fraud of any kind -

This is a community forum and any individual sales or deals that are made here between users are between them, and not the responsibility or liability of Gay Art World. That said, if you trust someone and they scam you, please report the incident to P.K. Benbow (or another admin) so we can keep our community safe from it happening again.
